Robert Arellano

Robert Arellano was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He started his college journey at Texas State University where he studied Spanish and Political Science, later earning an undergraduate degree. Afterward, Robert got a job teaching and coaching students at Southwest High School; though it wasn't long before he decided on a change of pace into the legal field. In 2010, Mr. Arellano earned his law degree from St. Mary's University.

Robert clerked for Nicholas and Barrera Law Firm after graduating law school before relocating to Dallas. He then worked in Bankruptcy Law from 2011-2013 until he was employed at the Travis County Office in Austin, TX from 2013-2022.

The Spring of 2022 marked a new beginning for Robert and his family as they moved back to San Antonio. Here, Robert accepted a job offer at BRCK Criminal Defense Attorneys practicing Criminal Law.

“I wanted to work at BRCK because I was looking for a new challenge. I knew that I eventually wanted to work as a Defense Attorney and when Stephen Barrera and Monica Khirallah came calling it was as if they read my mind. I was impressed with the people, the office, and the overall atmosphere of the firm. Also, getting the chance to work with family has been a blessing for me. I love getting to say that I work with my cousins and I feel like this office reflects those values.”

Robert's favorite pastimes include reading about the history of Texas and Mexico, going to see movies, and watching the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys play.
